  6. @l'homme - don't be pissed off at France - you should be pissed off at the Ref for not calling Thierry's handball!

France deserves to be at the Cup just like any of the other nations.

  7. Kristin Tieche To be fair Raymond Domenech is the real Villain of the piece .The French dont like him and did not like the way the Match finished ,they were Sympathetic to the Irish . Calls were sent out to the French Equipe to Replay the Match in the sense of fair Play,Thierry Henry agreed but Raymond Domenech said no Replay. He knew if France did not go to the World Cup he would be out of a Job.

  8. @l'homme - Agree with you 100%!

Domenech needs to be exiled to Ile d'Elbe.

And re-matches rarely happen in this sport.

Like today, the USA deserved that 3rd goal fair and square. But alas, there will be no re-match.

  11. @l'homme - it is all about the money. that's why i don't get emotional about it. I wish I was making $7.5 mil per year and had my life sponsored by Nike.

@calitexican - we are still in the game! Rien est perdu!

  17. Ah, a brutal game. I am happy that Mexico got to beat a former WC champ, finally, but I wish they had chosen another one. :) That said, France was not on their game at all. A la prochaine! And woo, USA's comeback today (even though it should have been a win...)
