friday fun times: world series edition

yeah, yeah. you heard. the giants are in the world series. again.

you heard they won the first two games.

KT stopped by the bike parking corral, because getting to and from the stadium really is easier if you ride your bike.

it's fun being a tia/cousin, cause can get outfits like this for the little one.

sf giants advance to world series

in case you didn't hear or don't follow sports, san francisco's own giants are going to the world series. ade and our friend KT over at velo vogue are huge giants fans. i work giants games sometimes parking bikes, and the energy is infectious.

the price of gas

as much as we don't really espouse "we told you so" attitudes around here for biking for transportation, i couldn't help but notice the price of gas the other day.

wow. and, i don't know if you can see, but this station is very close to a freeway entrance in SF's soma neighborhood. look at how many cars there are! to be fair, there was a giants game, and that always increases the traffic in the neighborhood, but...what if it didn't. there is free bike parking for giants fans. maybe the skyrocketing price would convince some people to CYLRAB.

i don't fear the beard

it is with a big heaving sigh AND an equally dismissive eye roll, that i send those of you who may be rooting for the GIGANTES this link. i think y'all would appreciate it.



now pardon me while i go look for some dignity and a beer in preparation for round two tonight! in approximately...oh, 49 minutes.

from the world series ladies and gentlemen.

the lovely hosts of your (almost) daily CYLRAB posts have been busy spending the past few nights glued to the tv/computer/phone watching our very own sf giants win some baseball games.

most likely we'll be doing the same tonight. AHEM.

posting will most likely be light again tomorrow, if it exists at all.
