40 & Green

Today I am 40.

Ade on Brompton
photo by Kristin Tieche (Happy Birthday to her, too!)

Amazing what a cute green Brompton and some red peep toes can do to make it great! So, if like me, you are entering... a certain group of years... grab your bike and do it up!

  2. Happy 40th, Ade (and to KT too)! I, too, will be starting in on my 5th decade come January. I'll definitely be hoppin' on my bike and telling the world to bring it on and catch me if you can!

    40 looks good on you.

  3. Sweet ride, Brompton's rule.

For anyone in NYC, we have a few bikes left to loan out the Brommie Yummie on Sept 19th. Its a fun ride for Brompton folding bikes only.

  6. Happy birthday! I've been testing out the waters of the 4-0 for a couple of weeks now, and so far they're fine. Welcome to the pool! *grin*

    40 on a bike > 40 not on a bike, IMO.

  18. Yet another happy birthday, if a bit on the late side. I concur with others that the 40s are the true golden years. May you live them well and may they live you well in return.

  19. What a great way to enter this next decade - cute shoes, cute bike and the open road. (And I am encouraged to hear so many say their 40s were great!) Certainly hope they're fabulous for you!

  20. YAY! Happy 40!

I'm liking my 40s so far. Recently turned 41 and dyed the front of my hair blue for my b'day. I love it. Never ever did color in my hair before but decided to make it my 40s tradition. Hot pink for 40. Bright blue for 41. Haven't decided on 42....
