Amazing what a cute green Brompton and some red peep toes can do to make it great! So, if like me, you are entering... a certain group of years... grab your bike and do it up!
(Brompton courtesy of Clever Cycles in Portland, Oregon. I wish I had more time to play there!)
happy birthday ade! :) <3

ReplyDeletehappy birthday!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 40th, Ade (and to KT too)! I, too, will be starting in on my 5th decade come January. I'll definitely be hoppin' on my bike and telling the world to bring it on and catch me if you can!
ReplyDelete40 looks good on you.
Sweet ride, Brompton's rule.
ReplyDeleteFor anyone in NYC, we have a few bikes left to loan out the Brommie Yummie on Sept 19th. Its a fun ride for Brompton folding bikes only.

40's a great age. You know how good you've got it and it hasn't started to go to hell yet.
ReplyDeleteMany happy returns!

Best wishes for the happiest time of your life!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Adrienne!!! I hope it's a great one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, all! And Doohickie, if it does all start to go to hell, we'll just have to make sure it is in a bike basket!
ReplyDeleteHappy 40s! Life went on the upswing for me big time once I hit 40. You're going to love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't Clever Cycles awesome?
Yet another happy birthday, if a bit on the late side. I concur with others that the 40s are the true golden years. May you live them well and may they live you well in return.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to enter this next decade - cute shoes, cute bike and the open road. (And I am encouraged to hear so many say their 40s were great!) Certainly hope they're fabulous for you!
ReplyDeleteYAY! Happy 40!
ReplyDeleteI'm liking my 40s so far. Recently turned 41 and dyed the front of my hair blue for my b'day. I love it. Never ever did color in my hair before but decided to make it my 40s tradition. Hot pink for 40. Bright blue for 41. Haven't decided on 42....
Happy birthday. I'm not far behind... You look great, and you're on a bike!
ReplyDelete¡Feliz cumpleaños Adriana!
ReplyDelete=v= (Belated) Happy Birthday! My Swift Folder is the same color, but it never occured to me accessorize it with red peep toes.
ReplyDeleteAgain, thank you all! And Jym, I hear you just hit 50! I think we should find you some red shoes : D
