Parenting is always a mixed bag. There is a never ending list of ways that you can completely screw up, doom your children to a life time of neurosis. No matter how much you try, read, seek advice there is nothing you can do except cross your fingers and do your best.
So when I looked at my son, Cameron, waiting at the intersection, it hit me that at least in this respect, Cameron has been raised right. He is comfortable in his skin, comfortable in his intellect and comfortable on his bicycle. The three things are intimately related.
